Blue Star East Large Scraper Filter
The scraper-type self-cleaning filter is a precision device that uses a filter screen to directly intercept impurities in water, removing suspended solids and particles, reducing turbidity, purifying water quality, and minimizing system fouling, algae, rust, etc., to purify water and protect other system equipment for normal operation. Water enters the self-cleaning filter body through the inlet. Due to intelligent (PLC, PAC) design, the system can automatically detect the degree of impurity deposition and automatically discharge sewage through signals to the sewage valve.

The products from our company used in this domestic sewage treatment include quartz sand filters and ultraviolet sterilizers.
Quartz sand filters, also known as shallow media filters, are a branch of mechanical filters. The media inside is quartz sand, which can trap sediment, colloids, suspended solids, and other particles, effectively reducing the turbidity of the sewage! Besides quartz sand, the media can also include activated carbon, anthracite, garnet, etc., depending on the desired water treatment effect.
Ultraviolet sterilizers are commonly used equipment for sterilization and disinfection in domestic sewage. According to different water treatment needs, ultraviolet lamps with matching power are selected. The ultraviolet light irradiation effectively alters the DNA structure of microorganisms, causing bacterial death, thereby achieving sterilization.
The self-cleaning filter is selected for ultrafiltration pretreatment, with a precision range generally between 50-150um, tailored according to the specific actual working conditions required by various membrane manufacturers. Currently, self-cleaning filters used in ultrafiltration pretreatment systems are relatively mature products, but there may be differences in the selection of drainage valves in some practical cases. In this system, solenoid valves are still widely used, characterized by high cost-effectiveness; additionally, the drainage water volume of solenoid valves is smaller compared to ball valves and butterfly valves. However, it is recommended to use solenoid diaphragm valves, as their operation and usage are very stable.

The spray dust suppression system, also known as the water mist dust suppression system or water curtain dust suppression system, is mainly aimed at places such as coal yards, thermal power plants, steel mines, coking plants, material yards, and docks where excessive dust causes environmental pollution and where large amounts of water spraying like spray guns are not needed. It uses nozzles of different shapes and atomization angles to atomize water, which then coagulates with dust and settles, achieving the purpose of eliminating dust and purifying the environment. The entire spray system consists of a water system and a control system. The water system includes water sources, pipelines, valves, filters, and dust removal atomizing nozzles; the control system consists of solenoid valves, sensors, controllers, etc. The spray dust suppression system features easy operation, maintenance-free, fast, and flexible characteristics, and has achieved good dust reduction effects in practice.
In the atomization dust suppression system, water needs to be converted into gas, and the source water plays a key role in the normal use of the atomization system. The atomizing nozzle is generally about 0.5mm or finer. If there are solid impurities and suspended substances in the raw water, they will gradually clog the nozzle, resulting in an unclear atomization effect. The self-cleaning filter was developed for use in the system. The self-cleaning filter is a device that does not require manual maintenance, can automatically filter and automatically discharge solid impurities and suspended substances in the atomizing raw water, greatly reducing nozzle clogging. It is now widely promoted in automation engineering projects. Zouxian Huadian International Use Case
Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant is a modern, large-scale pit-mouth thermal power plant located in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province, the hometown of the great ancient Chinese thinker and educator Mencius. To the south lies the water-rich Weishan Lake, and to the north is adjacent to the Yanzhou coalfield, providing unique natural conditions for development.
Currently, the plant has 4 units of 335,000 kW, 2 units of 600,000 kW, and 2 units of 1,000,000 kW, with a total installed capacity of 4.54 million kW. It is one of the largest coal-fired power plants in the country and ranks among the highest in comprehensive energy-saving and environmental protection levels domestically. It is affiliated with China Huadian Corporation and is a subsidiary of Huadian International Power Co., Ltd.
The first and second phases installed 4 units of 300,000 kW each, which were key national projects during the Seventh and Eighth Five-Year Plans. Construction officially began on October 1, 1983, with units successively completed and put into operation from 1985 to 1989. From 2001 to 2003, technological upgrades were carried out on the 4 units, increasing each unit's capacity to 335,000 kW.
The third phase installed 2 units of 600,000 kW each, marking Shandong Province's first national key project built with World Bank loans and a provincial advancement project. Construction started in 1993, and all units were commercially operational by 1997, achieving the fastest construction speed, shortest commissioning time, and best overall quality for similar units nationwide at that time. Unit #5 became the first 600,000 kW unit in the country to meet production standards and set a national record for continuous safe operation of 401 days among similar units.
The raw water used in the air compressor and condensate circulating water systems is sourced from Weishan Lake, classified as surface water containing solid impurities and suspended matter. A self-cleaning filter was selected to address the relatively poor water quality. After comprehensive evaluation of multiple options, the Fumide brand self-cleaning filter, model SCF-N series with various flow rates, was chosen. It is currently in operation and performing well, significantly reducing the workload caused by water impurities and has received unanimous praise from the power plant leadership.
