The spray dust suppression system, also known as the water mist dust suppression system or water curtain dust suppression system, is mainly aimed at places such as coal yards, thermal power plants, steel mines, coking plants, material yards, and docks where excessive dust causes environmental pollution and where large amounts of water spraying like spray guns are not needed. It uses nozzles of different shapes and atomization angles to atomize water, which then coagulates with dust and settles, achieving the purpose of eliminating dust and purifying the environment. The entire spray system consists of a water system and a control system. Zouxian Huadian International Use Case
Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant is a modern, large-scale pit-mouth thermal power plant located in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province, the hometown of the great ancient Chinese thinker and educator Mencius. To the south lies the water-rich Weishan Lake, and to the north is adjacent to the Yanzhou coalfield, providing unique natural conditions for development.
Currently, the plant has 4 units of 335,000 kW, 2 units of 600,000 kW, and 2 units of 1,000,000 kW, with a total installed capacity of 4.54 million kW. It is one of the largest coal-fired power plants in the country and ranks among the highest in comprehensive energy-saving and environmental protection levels domestically. It is affiliated with China Huadian Corporation and is a subsidiary of Huadian International Power Co., Ltd.
The first and second phases installed 4 units of 300,000 kW each, which were key national projects during the Seventh and Eighth Five-Year Plans. Construction officially began on October 1, 1983, with units successively completed and put into operation from 1985 to 1989. From 2001 to 2003, technological upgrades were carried out on the 4 units, increasing each unit's capacity to 335,000 kW.
The third phase installed 2 units of 600,000 kW each, marking Shandong Province's first national key project built with World Bank loans and a provincial advancement project. Construction started in 1993, and all units were commercially operational by 1997, achieving the fastest construction speed, shortest commissioning time, and best overall quality for similar units nationwide at that time. Unit #5 became the first 600,000 kW unit in the country to meet production standards and set a national record for continuous safe operation of 401 days among similar units.
The raw water used in the air compressor and condensate circulating water systems is sourced from Weishan Lake, classified as surface water containing solid impurities and suspended matter. A self-cleaning filter was selected to address the relatively poor water quality. The solid-liquid separator uses the principle of centrifugal separation for decontamination. Since the inlet pipe is installed at an eccentric position of the cylinder, when water passes through the inlet of the cyclone separator, it first forms a downward oblique circumferential flow along the tangential direction of the cylinder. The water rotates and moves downward, and when it reaches a certain part of the cone, it then rotates upward along the axis of the cylinder. Finally, it is discharged through the outlet pipe.
SCF-SY Hand Crank Brush Filter
The hand-cranked brush filter is a simple and efficient filter, composed of a filter cylinder, stainless steel mesh (wedge wire mesh, perforated mesh), a stainless steel brush with a handle, a pressure gauge, a drain valve, and other components. When impurities accumulate on the filter mesh, a pressure difference occurs between the inlet and outlet. When the pressure difference reaches the process requirement, cleaning is required. During cleaning, there is no need to disassemble any parts of the filter; simply open the drain valve and rotate the handle 3-4 turns to easily achieve effective cleaning.
